Sorry for using chat acronyms, but it really was the reaction upon my seeing this photo.

Breathtakingly amazing.

Haunting, isolated, forlorn, tense; this piece really is just brilliant to watch and feel as if you are about to be sucked into this deathly quiet and time-forgotten world. Perhaps part of a dream, or a limbo between this world and the next? These are the ideas that float through my head viewing this image.

The black and white does wonders and the pattern of the water on the sand gives depth, as does the deepening, foreboding shadows that reach out into the horizon. The clouds seem to press down, as if they would squeeze the air our of you.

All in all a massively brilliant photo.
