ohno 1/100 is not enough for 450mm :( without VR and tripod. for sharp picture you should have used 1/500 sec.

i dont know how to explain it in english, but its a simple "photographers rule": on the crop body you can say

1/
XXmm * 1,5(nikon body crop)

but only if you have very stilly hands.
i need with 300mm about 1/500 sec. to take sharp pictures :)
